Transfer Students

Your admission file will be complete when we have received each item below.  Plan to check the status of your admission application weekly by viewing your "To Do List" at http://www.opus.emory.edu/.  Learn how to access your OPUS account if you have not done so already.  It may take several business days for a networkID and password to be created for you after your application is submitted.

1.      Complete the Common Application Supplement: 

• To begin the application process, we strongly encourage you first to complete and submit Emory University's Common Application supplement. The supplement contains important information regarding application options and deadlines.

2.      Complete the Common Application:

• Once you have submitted the supplement, you are ready to begin the Common Application.

3.      Application Fee

• $50 application fee required of all applicants
• If you are applying to Emory College & Oxford College you will only pay one application fee for both divisions 
• Pay online through Common Application by credit card or mail a check or money order payable to Oxford College of Emory University. When submitting a personal check or money order, please write the applicant's name and birth date in the note section.
• Fee Waivers will be accepted from your high school counselor.

4.     Transcripts, including:

• All colleges attended, including work in progress
• All high schools attended - Required only if you have been enrolled in college for less than one year

5.      SAT or ACT Scores

• Required only if you have been enrolled in college for less than one year
• SAT School-code - 5186
• ACT School-code - 0851

6.      Recommendation(s)

• Letter from academic advisor or professor will replace the Secondary School Report Form

7.     Permanent Resident Cards (non-U.S. citizens only)

• If you did not enter your green card number on your application, submit a photocopy of form I-151 or I-551
