



Students who plan to enroll in Emory summer school should meet with their advisors to plan a Summer School schedule in early February. Students will need to pre-register for Emory summer school early in order to be considered for financial aid for summer (if available). Students must bring their Oxford Summer School on the Atlanta campus pre-registration form signed by their advisor in order for Records personnel to enroll students in Emory summer school. Summer school pre-registration begins Friday, February 5, 2010.
Records will enroll students for Summer 2010 Semester beginning:
Friday, February 5, 2010 - April 23, 2010 9AM - 4PM
Records will make changes/additions/deletions for Summer 2010 Semester Summer School until April 23, 2010. Any enrollment or changes for summer classes after April 23rd will be processed on the registration day on the Atlanta Campus.
Any students who do not pre-register may register on registration day. Registration will also be held on the Atlanta Campus on May 17, 2010 for first session, and June 28, 2010 for second session. Records personnel will be on the Atlanta campus to register students for their summer classes at the Woodruff Library, Info Commons area, third floor from 9:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m. Students must bring their Oxford Summer School on the Atlanta campus pre-registration form signed by their advisor in order for Records personnel to enroll students in Emory summer school.
Transient Study gives Oxford College students the opportunity to enroll as a guest at another accredited institution during the summer between their freshmen and sophomore year of study. Students who wish to attend another university (other than Emory College) for summer transient study must meet with their advisor to fill out an Oxford College Summer Transient Application. Please have courses approved by faculty or division chairs and return the completed application to the Office of Enrollment Services, Registrar's Office, no later than April 23, 2010 for transient permission to be mailed to the visiting college or university.
Please note: Students must enroll in at least a three semester hour course or at least five quarter hour course for transient credit. If the institution awards three semester hours of credit, three semester hours of credit will be awarded to you when your transcript is received with a letter grade of "C" or better. Please have all transcripts mailed to Oxford College of Emory University, Office of Enrollment Services, Registrar's Office, 100 Hamill Street, Oxford, GA 30054 on or before October 1st of the year that transient study was permitted.
