Fundraising is in progress for a new Library and Academic  Commons facility for Oxford College.  The University has made a commitment to fund 50 percent of the cost of this exciting project.  At this point, we have raised over two million dollars for the project.  Hugh Tarbutton, Jr. is leading the Board of Counselors' fundraising committee for the new library.  Personally, he gave a significant gift to name the Exhibit space in the new facility in honor of Fran Elizer, former library staff member and cherished member of the Oxford community.  We have received additional gifts to name several study spaces and the Library Director's office.  A description of the project and a list of naming opportunities in included in the fundraising brochure.
