Welcome to the Oxford College's backup page. Oxford College is running EMC Retrospect Enterprise to perform backup operations. This requires a client to be installed on each machine.The backup service will backup a computer's 'My Documents' folder in Windows or the 'Documents' folder in Macintosh. Any sub folders will be included with the exception of the 'My Pictures', 'My Videos' and 'My Music' folders within windows.

This service is meant to provide protection for critical documents in the event of hardware failure, theft, or other catastrophes. It is not intended as a long term archiving solution. If a more thorough archiving solution is needed, please contact OCIT for recommendations.

To install the required Retrospect backup software on your computer -
