Network ID (NetID) and Passwords
Your unique network identification (NetID) and associated secure password is required to access technology resources at Oxford College of Emory University. For example the NetID is required to access most Emory's information systems, send/receive official Emory email, download university licensed software, and many other technical services.
The NetID and password is received following the completion of the Human Resources employment process (typically requires two weeks). If the NetID and/or password is unknown, please request via AskIT
Changing passwords:
To change or synchronize your password across most Emory systems (e.g. Exchange/Email, Blackboard, Online Pathway to University Systems (OPUS), Software Express), complete the password synchronization form.
It is important to select a secure password and regularly change it. The password is the only item protecting valuable identity information, email correspondence, online course management and more. To select a secure password, follow these guidelines. If the password stops working or is forgotten, request a password reset using AskIT.

Blackboard
