1.   Start Menu 
2.   Click My Computer
3.   Click Tools > Map Network Drive
       a) Drive: choose a letter to be used by the Oxford File Server
       b) In Folder type: \\oxfordfileserve.eu.emory.edu\departments
       c)  Reconnect at logon: leave it checked
4.   Click "different user name"
       a) User name: Emoryunivad\<your network ID>
       b) Password: Your network ID password
       c)  Click OK
5.   Click Finish.  The fileserver will open up as a new drive on your computer using the drive letter you specified in step 2a.
6.   Double click on the folder you want

1.   Under "Go" on the main tool bar select "Connect to Server"
2.   In the Connect to Server window, in the Server Address type:
        smb://oxfordfileserve.eu.emory.edu/departments
3.   Click "Connect"
4.   In the SMB/CIFS File System Authentication window type the following:
        a) Workgroup or Domain = emoryunivad
        b) Name = <your network id>
        c) Password = <your network id password>
5.   Click "OK". You should see the folder open in a new window
6.   Double click on the folder you want

If you want your drive to automatically mount when you log onto your computer do the following:

  1. Follow steps 1 thru 5 above
  2. From the Apple, select System Preferences
  3. Click on the Accounts icon
  4. In the Accounts window click the "Login Items" tab
  5. Click the + near the bottom of the window
  6. From the pop up window select your mounted drive or folder
  7. Click "Add"
  8. If the Accounts page is locked (look in the bottom left hand corner of the window):
      a. Click the lock
      b. Type in the password for your computer
      c. Click "OK"
  9. Close the Accounts window
10. The next time you log into your computer you will need to type your network id and password
