The Oxford College Police Department, a division of Emory Community Services Division, provides a variety of services to the Emory community, but our primary mission remains that of making the campus a safe place in which to live, study and work.

The Uniform Patrol Division is the most visible of the police department and operates the marked patrol cars 24-hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year and can be reached by calling 770.784.8377. The division responds to the Oxford campus, parking areas, residence halls, academic and administrative buildings. They investigate accidents, responds to reports of crime, and engages in preventative patrol. The unit is the first to respond to your calls for assistance. Oxford College Police Department officers are trained and certified in accordance with POST guidelines, and they have full arrest and police powers on Emory University property.
Oxford Police provides security escorts to insure the safety of those who travel the campus.
Oxford Police Department will help you find the best place to park, and sell you a parking permit for $250 annually. Oxford College has provided a number of handicap-designated parking spaces. These spaces are located in proximity to other barrier free access routes, including ramps and automatic doors, and are reserved exclusively for properly tagged vehicles.
Fire prevention is a top priority at Oxford College of Emory University. Fires can be prevented when you are alert to potential hazards and take the proper precautions. Oxford College does everything possible to eliminate fire hazards but we need your help.
Your best protection from fire is prevention; your best chance of surviving a fire is to plan your escape.
