April 29, 2012

At an awards ceremony sponsored by Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society on April 25, Oxford students were recognized for their scholarship and leadership. During the ceremony, women's soccer freshman, Tiffany Bien was honored as one of two recipients of the Judy Greer Scholarship.

Bien came to Oxford from Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Deerfield, IL, and played a key role in the 2011-2012 women's soccer season. The Eagles are looking forward to even more production and leadership from Bien in her sophomore campaign.

The Judy Greer Scholarship was open to all current freshmen who will be enrolled at Oxford both fall and spring semesters of the sophomore year and have maintained a minimum 3.0 cumulative Grade Point Average, demonstrate leadership potential and exemplify the spirit and mission of Oxford College.
