Oxford Basketball signs Patrick Burns

The Oxford College men's basketball program is proud to announce the signing of Patrick Burns from Habersham Central High School. Patrick is a 6-foot, shooting guard, where he played for head coach Jed Ledbetter.


Patrick, the son of Bishop Ernest and Vanessa Burns, was a two-way star in both football and basketball.


During his senior season, he averaged 18 points per game, 7 rebounds a game, 2 steals per game and 2 assist per game.


Oxford College Head Coach Roderick Stubbs stated, "Pat is a very hard worker and true team player that does not mind doing the little things in order to help his team succeed. He is a great defender and 3 point shooter and we truly believe we have gotten a tremendous player. "
