Early Decision I deadline extended

Due to the potential impact of Hurricane Sandy on the US East Coast, the Oxford College Office of Enrollment Services has extended its Early Decision I deadline to Monday, November 5.  For students in the heavily impacted areas of New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, we will accommodate a further Early Decision I deadline extension until November 15. 

Says Jennie Taylor, Oxford's dean for enrollment services, "Our thoughts are with those along the Eastern Seaboard as they weather this storm."

Although students are still encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline, the extension will apply to applications, supplements, and materials submitted by applicants' schools.

Applicants should note that deadlines are postmark deadlines and/or online submission deadlines by 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
