New Student Orientation for all incoming students begins Friday, August 23 at 1:30 PM and will continue through Tuesday, August 27. Students can begin moving into their residence halls at 8:00 AM on Friday, August 23.
New international students may arrive on campus beginning 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 17. Extended International Student Orientation, a pre-Orientation event geared specifically for international students, begins on Monday, August 19. More information about this program can be found here.

During Orientation new students will have the opportunity to develop relationships with faculty and staff, establish immediate friendships, learn about the Oxford community, register for classes after consulting with your academic advisor, complete placementtests, and engage in fun activities until the wee hours of the morning. Through friendly faces, information sessions, and campus tours, you will feel at home at Oxford in no time at all.

Each student is assigned a PAL (Peer Assistance Leader) group to aid in the transition to our unique college setting. PAL groups will meet regularlythroughout Orientation to answer your questions, meet other incoming students, and help prepare you for what's in store.
Social events during Orientation include the legendary Oxford Olympics (an exciting opportunity for teams of students to compete for the championship), a talent show, and a movie on the Quad. Student organizations host a club fair the day after classes begin so you can find out how to get involved right off the bat!
