Lecture: "Can Leadership be Taught?" by Elizabeth Kiss

Elizabeth KissAs part our of commitment to teach leadership for real life, Oxford welcomes Elizabeth Kiss, president of Agnes Scott College. Her lecture will be followed by a conversation with Oxford Dean Douglas Hicks and a Q&A period. 

Kiss is a national leader in higher education. Before coming to Agnes Scott, she was the Nannerl O. Keohane Director of the Kenan Institute for Ethics and an associate professor at Duke.

She graduated from Davidson College and received a B.Phil and D. Phil in philosophy from Oxford University in England where she was a Rhodes Scholar. She has held fellowships at the Harvard Program in Ethics and Professions, the National Humanities Center, and Melbourne University's Centre on Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics.

Under the leadership of Kiss, Agnes Scott College has developed a nationally recognized Summit Program in Leadership Development and Global Learning.
