2026 Celebration of Scholarship and Creative Expression

Oxford College will host the annual Celebration of Scholarship and Creative Expression (CSCE) on Friday, April 17, 2026.

CSCE includes a variety of exhibitions, presentations, art and music that highlight and celebrate the scholarship and creative work of students, faculty, and staff.

The annual CSCE opening reception for faculty and staff will take place Thursday, April 16, from
4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the Library.

The CSCE events to be held on Friday, April 17 include:

  • 8:50 a.m. - Opening Remarks: Interim Dean Tarver (Humanities 202)
  • 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Research Scholars Oral Presentations | Humanities 201 & Humanities 202  (schedule coming soon) 
  • 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Writing Showcase/ Spoken Word | Phi Gamma (schedule coming soon)
  • 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Research Scholars Poster Presentations and Writing & Communication Showcase | Williams Gym (schedule coming soon)
  • 3:30 p.m. – Oxford College Music and Dance Showcase | Oxford College Quad (schedule coming soon)
  • 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. - Student Reception | Phi Gamma Plaza
  • All Day – Studio Art Exhibition | Pierce Hall, Few Hall, and Tarbutton (schedule coming soon)
  • All Day - Faculty and Staff Showcase | Library 1st Floor* (Bibliography of Contributors)
