Campus Life

A community you keep.

If you’re looking for cutout, carbon-copy students here, you won't find them. Instead, you’ll find people like you—bright, curious, and engaged learners who bring and give value to service. In Oxford’s close-knit and inclusive community, students of diverse backgrounds live and learn together in the rigorous academic environment for which Emory is known. Our diversity is what makes our everyday engagement with one another both unique and exciting.

Make Yourself at Home

For your two years at Oxford, the Office of Residential Education and Services will help you feel at home.

Campus Connections

Our welcoming and inclusive campus is an essential part of our community of academic excellence.

Welcoming the World

Whether this is your first time to the United States or you have visited before, we invite you to make Oxford College your second home.

Blue and Gold Make Green

Oxford strives to be a community that embraces sustainability and weaves its principles into everyday campus life.

What you'll find here.

Oxford College is located on Emory University's original campus, 38 miles east of Atlanta. Some of Emory’s first buildings line our tree-filled Quad and the university’s earliest history is recorded here. Classroom buildings, the library, gym, and dining hall are all within a five-minute walk from residence halls. The Quad, a college green, sits squarely in the middle of it all. It’s the place where students congregate for much of the year to chat on the way to class, study, people-watch, or sit under the stars to watch a "Movie on the Green."

Home court advantages.

As an Oxford Eagle, you can support nine varsity athletic teams that excel both on and off the field or enjoy a variety of club sports. Our newest offerings in varsity sports include men’s and women’s golf and cross country. Other varsity sports include men’s basketball, women’s and men’s soccer, and women’s and men’s tennis. Our coaching staff actively supports athletes in reaching their full potential academically and physically. Whether it’s with varsity or club sports, you’ll share a strong sense of pride and develop friendships that span decades.
