OXF Communications Team Earns Multiple International Hermes Creative Awards

The Oxford College of Emory University Communications and Marketing team has received significant international recognition, earning numerous honors in the 2026 Hermes Creative Awards, one of the world’s largest and most respected competitions for marketing, communications, branding, digital media, and creative excellence.
Competing alongside entries from universities, global brands, agencies, and organizations from more than 25 countries, Oxford College was recognized across a wide range of categories including brand strategy, writing, video production, social media, digital experiences, advertising, and publications.
Oxford earned five Platinum Awards, the competition’s highest distinction, for standout work including the college’s Brand Identity Refresh, Brand Guidelines and Message Playbooks, Oxford College Message Playbooks, Discover Oxford Admissions Travel Brochure, and feature storytelling highlighting legendary faculty member Dr. Judy Greer.
The team also captured six Gold Awards for creative storytelling and audience engagement, including Oxford Launch: London Video, OxStars: Unsung Heroes of Oxford College, Hearts on the Quad, Oxford College Commencement, The Fab 5: Oxford Roots, Unbreakable Bonds, and Dr. Judy Greer: An Oxford Legend Reflects.
Additional honors included Honorable Mention awards for projects such as Oxford Lingo, the Oxford College Strategic Plan, Academic Year Kickoff, and An Original Place for Original People advertising campaign.
These awards reflect the creativity, strategy, and dedication of a team committed to telling Oxford’s story in fresh and meaningful ways. From elevating our brand identity to celebrating our people and student experience, this recognition underscores the power of authentic storytelling and collaborative work.
The recognition also highlights the strength of Oxford’s in-house communications and marketing team, whose talent and versatility drive work across multiple disciplines. Team members include Amber Tallent, Multimedia Coordinator, whose photography, video, and visual storytelling helped fuel several award-winning campaigns; Tarrell Mitchell, Content Writer, whose feature writing and editorial storytelling elevated Oxford voices and narratives; Julia Kim, Marketing Operations and Social Media, who led digital engagement, campaign coordination, and audience growth strategies; and Kristine Taylor, Web Developer and Brand Manager, whose leadership in digital experience, design systems, and brand implementation helped shape Oxford’s refreshed identity.
