The inaugural Spring Festival will bring together four classes of Oxford students.

On March 18, Oxford College will host its first ever Spring Festival. The event will bring juniors and seniors in Atlanta back to campus to join current students in celebrating their Oxford roots. It will be a day of food, fun, and friends, and there will be opportunities for students to gather with each other, faculty, and staff. The festival also will feature games and activities, a wide variety of food and treats, and free commemorative sweatshirts, tee-shirts, and other items.

“Everyone who attends Oxford becomes part of our extended community, and I look forward to having four years of the community together at Spring Festival,” said Doug Hicks, Dean of Oxford College. “For our juniors and seniors, this is not only an opportunity to reconnect with faculty and staff who helped guide them through their first two years of college, but also to celebrate their shared Oxford history with each other.”

Festivities will run from 2:00–6:00 p.m. and will feature a welcome coke toast by Dean Hicks and a reception where students can catch up with their professors and the staff who support their Oxford and Emory journeys.

Buses will run continuously from the Atlanta campus starting at 12:00 p.m.

“We hope to see as many Oxford students as possible,” said Joe Moon, Dean of Campus Life. “It will be great to have everyone together on our beautiful campus.”
